Every Monday students are given a homework package that is for the week. The small book has pasted in it a list of jobs that need to be done for the week and a place for your signature to say you have seen and checked the homework.

The homework package needs to come back to school completed on Friday mornings.

It also includes a home reading folder, which you need to monitor. Your child either reads to you or silently and the date, number of pages read, are filled in on the chart inside the folder. There is an expectation that they will read for at least 15 minutes per night. The homework book is also a means by which you can communicate with me and I would encourage you to write in it if you would like.

As well as reading each night, there will be LSCWCh words to do, a language activity sheet, weekly tables practice sheet and a week of mental math activities from the Mental Math Book.

There is a study hall every Thursday before school from 7.30 to 8.00 where I can help students with their homework.
